The most romantic and beautiful accommodation at Tortugal. It is spacious and welcoming, offering everything you need for a relaxing, private get-away. The furnishings and paintings lend a casual elegance and comfortable luxury to this accommodation. There is a king bed in the bedroom, reading lamps, chairs, fan, and a beautiful private bath. A large private deck with lounge chairs overlooks a giant Guanacaste tree and the forest.


 

Deluxe Double

Tranquil, romantic cabins (3 available) each with a queen size bed, reading lamps, fan, table and chairs. Additional single bed for guest. Private bathroom with tub/shower.

These light and airy rooms are comfortable and simple. There are two individual beds in one room and one Queen bed in the other room, fans, reading lamps and private bathroom.

This light and airy room overlooks trees which sometimes have iguanas in them.  Two queen beds, lamps, fan, table, & private bathroom.


Superior Triple Room

This light and airy room overlooks the river, restaurant, trees and marina.  Three individual beds, small writing table, lamps, fan and private bathroom.


Triple Room Shared Bathroom

This light and airy room is comfortable and simple.  There is one Queen bed and a single bed, fan, reading lamps, shared private bathroom downstairs.

An impressive exterior staircase leads to an elegant open Terrace. Comfortable adirondack chairs, loungers, and tables set the stage.  The Deluxe Queen Room with view have fans, mosquito nets and open windows which overlook trees and the river.  These rooms share the common area and upstairs bathroom.

Note:One hour per day use of the outdoor unheated Jacuzzi is included with rental of both rooms for three night or longer stays. Due to the structure of the building we are unable to accept children under the age of 10.

Downstairs opens to a picturesque terrace with tables and lounger, decks, river and trees.   Terrazas 3 and 4 share the downstairs bathroom which is fabulous and includes a tub and separate shower.

Family Room

Dormitory style screened in rooms on the main level accommodate one or two guests. Up the narrow stairs one encounters two additional levels and rooms accommodating two or three additional guests. All bedrooms are fully screened in with fans, reading lamps, bamboo closets for belongings (guests should bring their own lock as rooms do not lock). There are two bathrooms. To add to the magic, there is a private sunbathing platform… This is the real jungle experience in its own private setting.

There is a bamboo-framed lounging area which is great for relaxing.

El Ranchito

Four individual alcoves each with a single bed, trunk, reading light, fan, mosquito net, in an enchanting open (no screens) natural wood and thatch setting overlook the Rio Dulce. Common seating area. NO children. Beautiful new shared bathrooms just downstairs.
